Long before the COVID-19 pandemic necessitated our meeting clients from a safe distance, Sanctuary has been offering the flexibility of telesessions for a variety of reasons. Inclement weather, illness, childcare, long travel distance… at Sanctuary, we know that therapy can sometimes be difficult to fit into a demanding schedule. In addition to our day and evening appointments, we are excited to offer our clients secure, HIPAA-compliant telesessions via zoom. What does it look like?

Meet with your therapist with ease using your phone, tablet, or laptop in a closed environment. Our advice for clients is that they choose a device with good connection to secure Wi-Fi, and find a private space where you won’t be heard or interrupted, like a closed room or even your parked vehicle. Then you can head to your therapist’s secure, telesessions web page to familiarize yourself with the platform, which will be provided along with your appointment time.

We use a  simple, user-friendly and HIPPA-compliant website specifically designed to care for you. It requires no special downloads or registrations, for your convenience and comfort. Simply type in your name at your designated appointment time, and your therapist will begin your video session with you.
