When Your Belieber Becomes a Griever

Bieber Fever: it’s real.

Justin Bieber. As an adult, I’m sure those two, small words elicit eye-rolling, maybe rubbing your temples and exhaling deeply. As a small child, those two words bring about an entirely different reaction – Bieber Fever, supposedly the most contagious disease of our time. But don’t panic! A simple Google search will reveal some extraordinary news – Bieber Fever is dying out.

Okay, stop cheering. No, really. Focus. We’re about to get serious.

While this may be fantabulous news for the adult population, little ones are grieving the loss of their supreme Biebs. You’re probably thinking, “What is this girl talking about? It’s just a celebrity! My kid will find someone more tolerable to idolize.”

Aromatherapy won’t heal wounds, physical or emotional, and it isn’t a replacement for doing the important work of intensive therapy.

Aromatherapy is…

Aromatherapy is a tool, just like any other relaxation technique. It’s one more thing to load into your self-care toolbox to help you along your life’s journey. Many clients here at Sanctuary enjoy having their choice of scent in their therapy space. People report that it helps them relax and be more present with the work. Why? Well, simple. Think about a place you enjoy being. The beach at sunset, the woods on a dewy morning, or the kitchen with your favorite dishes on the stove and in the oven. Take a moment to close your eyes and really picture being there. Read More…
