Women’s Winter Retreat: The Daring Way™
Brené Brown’s The Daring Way™
Lanterns & Labyrinths Special Edition
Winter is natures deep sleep, but it is not without merit in the seasons of our lives. Winter is a time for contemplation and examination – an ascent from our core through the layers of our lived experiences and responsibilities. As we ascend for Spring, we begin preparing for a new chapter, one that demands that we rid ourselves of the old patterns, beliefs and experiences that keep us from growing. What will we challenge and shed on the way up? What is getting in the way from realizing our potential? We invite you this Winter to do this sacred work alongside us and a group of other dedicated women.
Here is what we shall do together…
We will gather as a small group of like-minded, trustworthy, and accepting folks for a weekend retreat. Over the course of three days, we will explore what it means to be vulnerable, to show up in our lives with courage, and what wholehearted living can look like. We will do some expressive arts together. We will share meals together. We will make meaningful connections with others and especially with our own selves and our own stories. We will learn to write new endings by daring to go deep enough to own them by engaging in The Daring Way™.
During our time together, we will also integrate the healing properties of our enchanting meditation labyrinth, a transformative tool meant to enhance reflection and deepen contemplation. Taking time for ourselves during this preparatory season, establishing connections with like-minded individuals, and experiencing a sense of healthy vulnerability can aid in cultivating a more authentic lifestyle for many seasons to come.
We are excited to meet you and share this sacred season.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call us at 610-385-3155.
(The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The method was designed for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational leaders. It can be facilitated in clinical, educational, and professional settings. During the process facilitators explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. Participants are invited to examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding them back and identify the new choices and practices that will move them toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead.)
